Agriculture is all fine, well, and good, but farms need not be limited for the production of cotton, corn, and beans. What I suggest here is a new and exciting crop: the wallaby.
A 'wallaby' is any of various small or medium-sized kangaroos, typically native to Australia. But what I and PetPlace.com know is this: "Wallabies can make great pets." Who can argue with the experts?
When in the market for a new pet, weigh the pros and cons. Surely, a nice, fat wallaby would be more beneficial to the environment your children grow up in than a dingo. And wouldn't a small marsupial be great for entertaining during house parties? My theory is that they may, in the future, be able to mix up martinis with the best of them.
Now, I know what you're wondering. I know wallabies are the cats and dogs of the new millenium, but how can I profit from this? Simple! Wallaby farming will suit nearly every personality type, from those of shy demeanors to those few child pornographers that wish to move into the animal industry.
Wallaby farms need your help. Without farmers to prune and pluck the wallabies, they may become 'scruffy'. And nobody likes a scruffy wallaby. So please, if you have a kind heart or are thirsting for a taste of blood, call the Wallaby Farmer Hotline at 1-800-WALLABY, or send us an email at aussiejoe@wetnwild.com. We pray that our children will see a brighter tomorrow with the introduction of domestic wallabies to our homes.
